In the 3rd Generation we
have “Lord” (by Ladykiller) he was an international cross
country champion, and sire of Olympic medal winners in jumping (Livius)
and dressage (Larius). In the sire “Contis” pedigree we have the
valuable Argentan blood (Argentinus, etc).
A good stallion must have a good
damline! Challenger (as my other 2 stallions) is out of the
valuable Holstein line 474a, which has produced winning
stallions worldwide! Calato, sire of European Champion 2003
“Coester” in Holstein. “Royal Cavalier”, No 9 in the world
jumping index 2007 and successful stallion in Ireland!
N-Aldato (Emil Hendrix) and
“Montreal” in the Netherlands. “Challengers” granddame “Livree”
is also granddame of the licensed Holstein stallion “Amadehus
standing at “Haras de Hus” in France.
He stands at 1.69m, and looks
like grandsire Contender. He has a very good walk, trot and
canter, and in jumping unlimited scope, with a particularly
strong bounce.
He has a good temperament and
gives his good top line and neck to his big framed foals.
He has been licensed by the
Namibian Warmblood Horse Society and got a 9.0 for
jumping
ability and 8.0 for technique.
