German
top horses at the world equestrian festival in Aachen 2006 were
out of the SANDRO /Gepard line!!

by Silvio in jumping, and Satchmo by
Sao Paulo in dressage! One of the
few lines, which produce horses for jumping and dressage in the
same quality!
This is
underlined by “Sandro Boy” (Markus Ehning) by Sandro and by
“Sundance” (Franke Sloothaak) by Sandro Song in jumping, and by
the most exciting dressage stallion “Sandro Hit” by Sandro Song.
Sandro Song is the grandsire of Shogun.
His dam,
the premium mare “Locarno Loretta’ had herself the potential of
an international horse and got excellent marks for jumping and
movement.
She is by
“Rabino”, a son of “Ramiro”, a
century –
stallion and sire of such international horses like,
Olympic silver medal winner “Ratina” “Royal Bravour” and “Ninette”. Calypso 2 by
Cor de la
Bryere is the sire of “Contender”, sire of “Checkmate”,
”Collin”, “Montender” and other international horses.
In
the 3rd
generation we find “Lord” (Holstein), sire of international
horses in jumping (Livius) and dressage (Larius). He was for
many years in the top rankings of international jumping and
dressage!
“Shogun”
comes out of one of the best dam lines in Europe, Holstein line
474a.,which produced stallions like “Calato” (sire in European
Champion “Coester” and others), N-Aldato in the Netherlands,
“Royal Cavalier” in Ireland (Nr. 9 in world jumping ranking
2006), Loxgraf go in the USA.
Shogun
stands at 1.72 and combines type, good movement, unlimited
scope and excellent technique in jumping. (Marks with licensing:
walk 8.5, trot 7.5,
canter 8.0, jumping ability 8.5,
technique 7.5).
He has a very good temperament and offered flying changes after
being only a few weeks under the saddle.
His foals are noble,
dominantly in his dark bay colour, with good movements and
promising jump.
